Reference - Kai V.2

Awkward stickman is awkward. lol

Some of you may have remembered my traditional 'reference' of my character that I submitted and that I promised a actual reference sheet for him about a year ago. XD you will be proud to see that I have finally gotten around to doing it (though I didn't use that old picture XD). And I hope you guys think it was worth the wait.

Name: Kai

History:
Raised as a human, it was only after he met a silver dragon, named QuickSilver, that he discovered his true identity. Soon afterward, he rose in rank until he bested the Night Lord himself and claimed the title. Kai met with a young water dragon, Hydroa, they fell in love and mated, despite the warnings and threats of both her father and the other Dragon Lords. She died within the next year without any given reason. Several years after, he realized that a hydra, named Rapiax, had decided to take up residence in his mind. On more than one occasion, Rapiax has controlled Kai's body completely; these 'outbreaks' have spread rumors that have frightened his fellow night dragons and have hindered his rule.
Personality:
Few have met him outside of official appearances, even fewer know him personally. Though his voice is fair, Kai is unintentionally blunt and comes across as uncaring; however, he has a strong sense of duty and concern for his people, the night dragons. He tries to make the best choices for them, and is very protective of hatchlings. And though he would love to have a family of his own, he has vowed never to mate again. He has a soft spot for water dragons and humans, due to the fact that he was raised as one.
Other:
Kai's 'spine' is actually a medical cast that was made by QuickSilver to connect severed parts of his nervous cord, due to a serious stab wound. Without it, he would be paralyzed from the waist down.
